Spring Break Art Camp 

for ages 6-12

Campers will gather inspiration from the exhibition Through the Eyes of a Child featuring the artworks of children who took art classes at the WAG Studio over the winter session. Create a new masterpiece with the help of a professional artist, meet guest artists, experiment with new art forms, play active games, and grow your creativity with a different theme each day.

Summer Art Camps

Registration starts March 10 for week-long art camps in July and August based on Olympus.

Discover how artists use a whole range of colours, lines and textures to appeal to our five senses. Taste the flavours, touch the textures, hear the sounds, smell the odours, and see it all in the exhibitions at the WAG.

Children are naturally “drawn” to animals. If you could transform yourself into an animal for a day, what animal would it be? Hunt for the animal art in the Gallery and go wild in the Studio to make your own untamed work of art!

Children & Teens

Spring 2015 (10 week sessions)

Children’s and teens’ classes are structured to accommodate the abilities of different age levels. These classes develop skills in various media, fostering creativity, and imagination. Artist instructors are paired with classes based on their understanding of materials used and sensitivity to the ages of the children. The Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions consist of 10 classes each on Saturdays or weekdays in the early evening.
