Inspire, enrich, and engage by donating today!
About the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Annual Appeal
A gift to the Annual Appeal provides art and education to everyone in our community. Last year, donors directed their gifts towards one of these areas of giving (below), which helped shape the exhibitions, programs, and art acquisitions at the WAG. Here’s how your donation will inspire, enrich, and engage our community through art.
Last year, the WAG brought to Winnipeg major exhibitions, including 100 Masters: Only in Canada, Christian Marclay's The Clock, 7: Professional Native Indian Artists Inc., Inuit Fantastic Art; and more. This year the WAG continues its tradition of excellence in art with three monumental exhibitions: Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Dalí Up Close, and Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin.
The WAG constantly adds to its growing collection of exceptional art. Over 240 pieces of art were added to the WAG’s collection last year.
The WAG’s Youth Programs engage youth in the community to examine the world from its connection to art through instruction and innovative programming.
Since launching the Endowment Fund in 2010, over $500,000 has been raised, ensuring the WAG will continue to provide a meeting place for art and art lovers well into the future.
Area of Greatest Need
WAG programming continues to expand its reach to diverse audiences—to teachers and students of art of all ages, to parents and children, and to people from all backgrounds. When you donate to the WAG, you enrich lives within the entire community, now and into the future.
Donations can be made online, in person at the front desk, or by phone at 204.789.1764.
