WAG Offers Dinner at Storm Bistro and Tour of 100 Masters: Only in Canada
If you are looking for a change from another ho-hum dinner out, consider the Winnipeg Art Gallery’s Art Eats. The evening begins with dinner at Storm Bistro on the WAG’s penthouse level, followed by a private tour of 100 Masters: Only in Canada. The largest exhibition in the WAG’s 100-year history features works by Rembrandt, Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet, Matisse, Picasso, among others.
Art Eats will take place from 6 to 9pm on Thursday May 30 and July 25, and Tuesday, August 6. Tickets are $60 for WAG members and $65 for non-members.
A special Art Eats will take place on Monday, June 3 when the tour will be led by Dr. Stephen Borys, WAG Director & CEO, who curated the exhibition. Tickets for that evening are $70 and $75.
Art Eat tickets are available at wag.ca, by calling 204.789.1290, or emailing email@example.com.
“Art Eats is a great way to experience the WAG and particularly the 100 Masters exhibition,” says Anna Wiebe, Head of Education. “There are a limited number of tickets sold for each night so there is no overcrowding. Guests can easily view the works of art and feel comfortable asking questions and discussing amongst themselves and the guide. We expect that all four Art Eats evenings will sell out, so we recommend that people purchase their tickets well in advance.”
Art Eats offers a fixed menu which is posted in advance at wag.ca. Anyone who has dietary issues or restrictions should contact Storm Bistro in advance at 204.948.0085.
BMO is the presenting sponsor for 100 Masters: Only in Canada.
