Encode a message of love just in time for Valentine’s Day with Morse code bracelets! Join us for our monthly drop in craft night with Erika Hanneson. Use colourful beads to spell out your message. A variety of materials will be used. All supplies and instructions will be provided.

A $10 admission fee is payable at the WAG Studio front desk • Ages 8 to adult.

Children & Teens

10 week session

Child and teen classes are structured to accommodate the abilities of different age levels. These fun-filled classes develop skills in various media, fostering creativity and imagination. Artist instructors are paired with classes based on experience and area of specialization. Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions each consist of 10 classes on Saturdays or weekdays in the early evening.

(Ages 10-13) Animation

This course provides a beginners understanding of animation process and techniques. Students will work with claymation and then other styles of animation if time allows.   They will work on developing their own stories, characters, and designs to complete basic animation projects with emphasis placed on their individual creativity.  The course begins with some time spent on developing characters and backgrounds in order to eventually move to the animating stage of telling a short story.   Throughout the course a variety of animated films will be shown and discussed in order to deepen an understanding of animated film and what types of animation can be found, with emphasis on unique styles and techniques..  A DVD of students completed projects will be provided at the end of the session.
