The Winnipeg Art Gallery announces it will launch a search for the Gallery’s next Curator of Contemporary Art this September. Effective August 22, Paul Butler, current Curator of Contemporary Art, is stepping down from his post to take on some new projects and focus on his artistic career.

At its Annual General Meeting on June 26, the Winnipeg Art Gallery announced a surplus of $385,716 in its 2013/2014 fiscal year, the largest surplus in WAG history.
