Cigarette, Presentation case

Front of case is engraved in scroll and foliate design with areas of cross hatching. Seven sets of initials (monograms) relating to the givers are attached at random and riveted to the case. Rivets are visible in interior. Monorams are in gold cyrillic lettering. Signature in gold riveted to reverse of cas. Also on reverse are engraved initials E.W.

A vermeil (silver gilt) dessert cutlery service comprised of 18 spoons, forks and knives in fiddle and thread pattern. Housed in a later (c. 1900) fitted box of green leather over wood with fitted bottom and removeable tray covered in bittersweet red suede. Cutlery is engraved with a very distinctive contemporary crest - an eagle attacking a prone crane.
