Thirty members came out for the special member event yesterday, where they enjoyed a talk with Esther Bryan, creator of the Quilt of Belonging, and got to see the exhibition before it opened to the public. Curator Andrew Kear also gave them a tour of the exhibition William Brymner: Artist, Teacher, Colleague. Members were invited to bring guests with them to the event so they could share this unique experience with their friends and family. Our next member event will be of the Carl Beam exhibiton on June 30. If you would like to become a WAG member with all it's privileges--free admission, sneak peeks at exhibitions before they open, reduced prices on art classes and concerts--click here for all the details.
