Public Relations Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, Communications & Marketing, this position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, assignments, and projects that promote the WAG brand through its media and community relations. This position is also responsible to keep all web and information touch points up to date, to book and track advertising campaigns, and compile reports on campaign results.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in public relations along with 5 years’ experience working in public or media relations; an understanding of the not-for-profit arts community; the ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities with a variety of stakeholders.

The WAG offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packages, including employer paid life, health, dental and vision care coverage premiums, and summer long weekends, with Mondays off in June, July and August through a planned compressed work week.
