Thanks to the over 3,000 people who visited the WAG for Nuit Blanche on Saturday and to the great staff and volunteers who made the night of FREE arts possible!I am so grateful that Winnipeggers come together to program this night of arts access for all every year. I had a wonderful night and here were some of my most memorable moments:
I love German Expressionism so the opening of Storm and Spirit with a tour by curator, Andrew Kear was a highlight of my evening.
Le Révélateur’s immersive electronic image and sound installation looked great in Eckhardt Hall.
The Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library delivered yet another fun workshop with macrame bracelet making.
And of course Dean Baldwin’s acropolis looked amazing on the rooftop sculpture garden!
