BeBop Back into the Fifties at the WAG’s Rockwell Around the Clock
The Winnipeg Art Gallery is pleased to announce a swinging new event, Rockwell Around the Clock, on Friday, March 23. Inspired by the Gallery’s spring blockbuster, American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell, Rockwell Around the Clock promises to be a carefree night of music, dancing and fun!
As well as guided tours of the exhibition, the evening features Will Bonness’ Swing Band. Let loose on the dance floor and enjoy a performance by dancers from Hepcat Studio, and learn a few new steps.
“Rockwell Around the Clock will be an entertaining and enjoyable evening,” says Doren Roberts, Special Events Coordinator. “Bring your friends or meet new ones. Relax with cocktails and relive the good old days.”
Tickets are $20 for WAG Members and $25 for Non-Members. Available in person at the WAG or at wag.ca.
