Manager of Media & Marketing

Reporting to the Director & CEO and as a member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for the strategizing and promotion of all aspects of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, and the development and implementation of a comprehensive and creative marketing and communications strategy that includes advertising, media and public relations, internal communications, website and social media management and tourism related activities.

Managing the communications and graphic design staff, you will develop annual plans and budgets for the department and liaise closely with all departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand presentation. You will plan and execute the marketing plan for the Capital Campaign for the new Inuit Art Centre.

You are a creative individual with 5 years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, a university degree or equivalent in a related field. You have strong management, communication, organizational and computer skills with established media relationships and a successful record in building community and corporate relationships and promotional partnerships. An understanding of the arts and not-for-profit sector is an asset. You have demonstrated the ability to act independently and exercise sound judgment.
