Public Opening and Artist Tour - Andrew Qappik
Thursday, April 29, 2010 from 7pm to 10pm
Andrew Qappik is another of the second- and third-generation Inuit artists who are expressing personal and contemporary concerns through their art.
Join us for the public opening of his first solo exhibition, which will be followed, at 8pm, by a tour of the exhibiton conduted by the artist himself.
The evening will also include the launch of Winnipeg Art Gallery: Guide to the Collection, a stunning publication featuring 272 pages presenting over 400 works from the WAG's permanent collection.
