Developmnet & Membership Database Administrator

JOB SUMMARY: Oversees and manages the Gallery's Development/Membership database configuration, records, queries and reports.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Manage and maintain the Development/Membership database, including performing regular data maintenance
- Oversee training and user support; develop and maintain in-house manuals and training materials for database users
- Design and provide reports and queries for, and in consultation with, users for the use of WAG
- Prepare mailing lists via queries and exports for mywag and other Communications and Events mailings to donors and/or members; prepare donor category listings for mywag, Annual Report and donor board
- In consultation with the finance department oversee the preparation of tax receipts for contributions to the Gallery. Prepare donation and gift-in-kind reports for year-end
- Oversee data entry into the database
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth knowledge of Raiser's Edge software usage and administration
- Post Secondary degree/diploma
- Experience within a not-for-profit organization
- Experience with fundraising software for gift and donor management
- Database design, management, administration skills
- General programming skills

- Detail-oriented with excellent organization and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, utilize confidentiality where necessary, and work independently
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, in co-operation with staff, volunteers, other institutions, and the general public.
