This ivory igloo has incised and black coloured detail on the outside in the shape of blocks. The igloo is split in two sections. One section has an ivory peg inset horizontally into wall, visible at the interior and exterior. The other section has semicircular opening. These sections appear to have been attached to each other as string remains through the drill holes on one edge of each.
Kayak and Hunter
Hunter with implements in ivory kayak. Hunter is made of ivory and has black colouring to outline clothing and facial features, also some red colouring on face and neck. Two spears, harpoon with bladder and two double paddles are strapped to kayak with sinew. A seal with black colouring for detail also rests on back of kayak.
Kamotik & Dog Team
Ivory komatik is covered with a sealskin rug and has two bladders and two seals strapped on with sinew lines. The six dogs pulling the komatik are attached with sinew lines and sealskin harnesses. The hunter is not attached to the komatik and is made of ivory and has proper right leg bent as if kneeling on edge of komatik. Black colouring adds detail to all ivory pieces, red also on hunter.
