Make a simple, versatile, and stylish vegetable-tanned belt from a piece of 9-10oz leather. This natural toned belt measures 1 1/4” in width and features an antique brass buckle with two rivets.  No dyeing or drying time required.

Learn step-by-step how to create your own succulent and cacti habitat. Create a terrarium, approximately 5 ½” tall and 6” diameter.  Featuring three plants, one granite stone, one quartz stone, moss, sand, soil, charcoal, and drainage stones. All materials and instructions provided.

MakerLab: Le Petit Point with Chantal Alary

Using  a lap loom frame, you’ll create your own hand-woven wall hanging. Using various textures of wool and roving, you’ll learn how to warp your loom and weave using several techniques. The end result is a beautiful woven piece of art to hang in your home that plays with geometry, colour, and texture.

This course focuses on monochromatic and colour theory, form, shading, various ways to describe space, use of light,compositional arrangements, and the particularities of painting with acrylics. Learn how to create a 3-D object on a 2-D surface(canvas) and work with mediums involving acrylic paint.

This drop-in program provides an independent study of life drawing. Although no instruction is provided, you will have the opportunity to work from models in whatever materials you like. No advance registration is required; payment is collected each week at the WAG Studio front desk. Bring your own supplies.
