Celebrate your child's birthday in a very special way with a party at the WAG.
Sunday, June 5, 2011 to Monday, August 31, 2020
The WAG is a great place for a birthday party! The kids visit the exhibitions and are inspired to create their own masterpiece. There are four themes to choose from:
Arctic Adventure • Learn about Inuit culture and traditional games, stories, and print-making techniques.
Young Artists' Party • Paintbrush in hand, roam the galleries, pretending to be an artist. Learn how artists paint and sculpt, then roll up your sleeves to make your own work of art to take home.
Magic Carpet Ride • Take a magic carpet ride through the Gallery! Explore visual art by "landing" in the paintings, telling stories, and using creative movement. At the end of the journey, you will make your own painting.
Pirate Journey • Have you noticed that the WAG looks like a giant ship? Come aboard and follow the secret treasure map, overcoming various obstacles to find the X and win your treasure.
