Math + Art - On Until May 4

It's Math + Art at the WAG! Check out this exciting new curriculum (K-12) based exhibition designed specifically for students and teachers.

Offering a particular focus on twentieth century art, Math + Art provides an opportunity to explore the evolution of modern art during a time when artists were experimenting with geometric abstraction and mathematical theories to explore new ways of seeing and visually interpreting the world.

Bring your students for an interactive tour exploring three curriculum based math themes highlighted in the exhibition: Shape and Dimension, Number and Relation, and Symmetry and Pattern.

WAG Student Art Board

Do you know a student who is creative and passionate about art? Several schools have nominated students to sit on this board which meets regularly with WAG staff to discuss and implement programs and events aimed at a teen audience.
