The Winnipeg Fringe Festival
Wednesday, July 16, 2014 to Sunday, July 27, 2014
The Winnipeg Fringe Festival is coming back to the WAG! Ten shows will be offered in the Muriel Richardson Auditorium.
Original, accessible, cheeky – these are just some of the adjectives used to describe North America’s second-largest Fringe Theatre Festival. For 12 days every July, more than 170 companies from around the world present comedy, drama, dance, improv, musicals and more at the Winnipeg Fringe. The streets come alive with actors in elaborate costumes, street performers displaying unique talents and thousands of people attending shows, browsing vendor stalls and watching performers on the outdoor stage.
In 1988 the Fringe started with a handful of venues and performing companies. Centered in and around The Exchange District, the Fringe has grown every year, and now extends beyond Old Market Square with venues stretching from The Forks, down Portage Avenue, and into the heart of Osborne Village.
Join the celebration from July 16 to 27! With a diversity of performers, there is something for everyone.
Recieve $2.00 off admission to the Gallery, including 7: Professional Native Indian Artists Inc. when you present your Fringe ticket stub (WAG shows only).
Tickets available online.
