COVID-19 Update

Dear Friends,

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Winnipeg Art Gallery will close temporarily to the public, effective Monday, November 2, 2020 until further notice. The health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors remains our top priority.

The closure includes upcoming events and public programs. The WAG will continue to monitor the situation closely. For the most current information, and an artistic diversion, please visit our website regularly and enjoy wag@home.

As directed by Provincial guidelines for retail, the Gallery Shop and WAG@TheForks will remain open, operating at reduced capacity.

Should you have any questions, please email us at Our team will make every effort to respond to inquiries in a timely fashion. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Yesterday the Winnipeg Free Press called Qaumajuq a light amid the darkness. May it be the same for you.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Gallery soon.

Be well and stay safe,

Stephen Borys
Director & CEO
