Inuit Heart

Winnipeg Free Press. Inuit Heart. Part1

In a two part series, the Winnipeg Free Press explores the North and the WAG’s Inuit Art Centre.

As the WAG’s ambitious Inuit Art Centre begins to take shape, writer Randy Turner and photographer John Woods traveled to Nunavut to gain a greater understanding of the Inuit’s rich and complicated history and how their art took the world by storm. The series then examines how the Inuit Art Centre will redefine the role of museums and galleries.
