Looking for a fun art-filled camp for your little ones this summer? Look no further than WAG-Qaumajuq! With art-making workshops and activities that inspire and encourage creativity for children ages 6-8 and 9-12, campers have the opportunity to learn about the current exhibitions on display and the permanent collection, while getting a behind-the-scenes look at how the Gallery operates.
This year’s Summer Camp theme is sustainability. Campers will learn about community through art, explore gallery exhibitions, create in our rooftop studio spaces, and show off their art in a group exhibition at the end of the week!
This year, explore clay and make 3D art creations in our Clay All Week Summer Camps, discover the magic of collage, drawing, analogue and new media digital design in our Mixed Media Summer Camps, learn how to create your own printed materials in our Print Shop Summer Camps, etc!
Summer Camps are week-long, and have 30 spots per week. Registration begins May 3 at noon. Programming is subject to change.
Stay tuned for more details on individual Summer Camps to come!
