Dear WAG Travellers,
We live in unprecedented and unsettling times; none of us could have predicted the global impact of Covid-19 on the lives so many people here in Canada and around the world. We hope that in the not too distant future some degree of normalcy returns and without a significant increase in the tragic loss of lives.
Since the late 1960s, the Associates of the Winnipeg Art Gallery has introduced members and friends to numerous exciting destinations around the world through its Travel Tour program. These shared experiences have enriched our lives, fostered friendships and raised funds for one of Canada’s leading arts institutions.
For now, as this situation unfolds and we all deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Associates has put our travel program on hold and postponed the trip to India which was planned for November 2020. In the months ahead, we will keep you updated on tours that we are considering for 2021 and beyond.
