11:00am – 5:00pm

Join us on the second Sunday of every month for free admission to the WAG and more family fun!

Morrisseau & the Seven Teachings: Explore the monumental and boldly-coloured painting, Androgony, by Anishinaabe artist Norval Morrisseau. Learn about the Seven Sacred Teachings and be inspired to respond creatively. Plus, enjoy our new Rooftop Retreat with games like croquet and bean bag toss. Fold a boat out of paper to float in our rooftop pond. Have fun in the galleries with look and find and scavenger hunt activities!

To maintain safe distancing protocols, the Gallery will institute a timed ticketing system. Registration for timed slots is on now!

Come hungry! Executive Chef Barry Saunders of the award-winning SMITH Restaurant from Inn at the Forks will be cooking up a family-friendly BBQ from 12-3pm. All items can be purchased a-la-carte on the rooftop!

Free public parking is available at the Canada Life parking lot behind 100 Osborne Street North for visitors on Canada Life Free Sundays@WAG. As well, downtown street parking is free Sundays, and several bus routes service Portage Avenue & Colony Street as well as Portage Avenue & Vaughn Street.

See you there!
